Summer Splash Illustration

I've tried to change up my styles on what seems to be reoccurring themes  during each season in an attempt to not look stale. One of those themes is outdoor fun.  for summer, it was always waterparks, day trips and amusement parks to name a few. For this style, I started off with about 95% adobe Illustrator with almost no gradients used.  Later, I brought it into Photoshop to add just a few "hard" shadows  and textured backgrounds.
