Just three days before the worst tornado in Tuscaloosa's history, we were out to explore whether there was a Tornado Alley Tuscaloosa County. Using data provided to us by the National Weather Service, we mapped out every recorded tornado instance in the county over the last 50 years. At first glance, it seems that these tornadoes were all over the place but when we concentrated on just F-3 and above there was a clear path that went right the heart of the city. (The April 27, 2011 tornado followed this path)
